Section 9
Prohibition of entry into forest areas
(1) If deemed necessary from the point of view of forest conservation, the Divisional Forest Officer may publish a public notice and prohibit entry into the whole or part of the National Forest for a certain period of time.
(2) When entry is prohibited in accordance with sub-section (1), a road may be set aside for the movement of people by demarcating the border, and the road thus separated may be used subject to the conditions mentioned in the notice published in accordance with sub-section (1).
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2), no domesticated quadruped shall be allowed to enter the forest area where entry is prohibited.
(4) When entry is prohibited in accordance with sub-section (1), in the case of project operators licensed by the Government of Nepal, entry regulation shall be arranged as prescribed.
